The founders of Cannabis Corner, Michael Amalfi Jr and James Knox Jr, are proud legacy operators whose deep roots in New York’s legacy cannabis market reflect both resilience and purpose. With firsthand experience of the harm caused by outdated marijuana laws, they are committed to transforming that history into a force for good, building a dispensary that centers equity, empowerment, and reinvestment in impacted communities.
Michael brings decades of entrepreneurial experience, from running successful restaurants to leading a non-profit focused on re-entry and second chances. James, a highly skilled tradesman, has built both physical spaces and opportunities for others—bringing precision, craftsmanship, and heart to every project. Together, they are turning a new chapter into real impact: uplifting others, advocating for justice, and ensuring that the voices historically silenced by prohibition are finally heard and empowered.
